Private treatments

Our private rooms are painted in different healing colors.

Private acupuncture may include acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion, gua sha, and herbal consultations. Your acupuncturist will talk to you one-on-one each session to determine your health needs and craft a personalized treatment. Practitioners will also offer nutritional counseling and lifestyle recommendations to help you heal. Different practitioners have different pricing schemes for private acupuncture, treatments range from $60-$120 a session. This discounted price is based on payment at time of service. Some of our practitioners are in-network with the Veteran’s Administration and with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.

We also offer a free initial consultation (20 minutes) for private acupuncture appointments.

Community treatments

In community acupuncture treatments you will share the space with 1-3 other people.

Until Chicago moves into Phase Four of COVID-19 recovery, we are not able to use our community room for treatments. For those who come alone we are offering a ‘socially distant’ $40-$60 sliding scale. If you are out of work and are receiving no benefits (unemployment, PPP program) we are offering an economic hardship rate of $30.

Treatments include an intake and a personalized treatment created by your acupuncturist. Only a single service (acupuncture, cupping or extended gua sha) is guaranteed during your treatment but occasionally your practitioner may add a brief moxibustion session, gua sha, herbal consultations, or nutritional counseling based on your health needs.

Following is information on how our community acupuncture program works when we are not in the middle of a pandemic!

Community acupuncture is conducted in a group setting and there is a sliding scale ($25-$55) based on income. Treatments include an intake and a personalized treatment created by your acupuncturist. Only a single service (acupuncture, cupping or extended gua sha) is guaranteed during your treatment but occasionally your practitioner may add a brief moxibustion session, gua sha, herbal consultations, or nutritional counseling based on your health needs and the time available during a busy clinic day.

We work on an honor system and we don’t ask for any proof of income level. Patients are fully dressed and wear (or bring) clothes so that the practitioner can needle their arms and legs. Treatments will include one therapeutic modality (acupuncture, cupping, or extended gua sha sessions)
